A place for my poems to live at. Be warned, many of them are sad.
It's so apparent its awkward.
It's so apparent it's debilitating.
It's so apparent it's debilitating.
Debilitation by the loss captures you.
It Renders you immovable whether that be through time or in the past.
Who knows what it may be?
Stagnation calcifies the heart and dust settles on the soul.
How can you find it?
Searching causes pain as the calloused heart ruptures and the soul feels naked.
Who can you seek help from?
This Journey may end in pain for all involved. Leaving you and your allies broken and destitute
What will you become when you find it?
That I cannot reveal to you.
The longing for freedom and the longing to feel whole is enough.
What would you trade in for this?
I'm afraid to know the answer to that.
Your eyes cause a stir.
Two dangerous orbs, implanted in that thick voracious body.
I want them to stop.
Avert their gaze from me and look elsewhere.
They deserve to only look upon the ruin they cause.
Now, shut them
And only when the well of repentance fills from the depths to the surface will you open them again.
I have never mattered not one iota.
no matter the ballet or dance,
no matter the riveting performance or convincing parleys,
I have never mattered.
No matter the various mask or shows I conduct to capture your heart
I have never mattered.
The days I spend with you, speaking tenderly and awaiting your applause and they never come.
No matter if I heed your call or pick you up even though I fall
I have never mattered.
I look into your eyes and see disdain for every sin i've claimed.
I see you cry and frown when I miss my lines or love you only till the cup is full.
I give you my heart and you ask can you trade it in for
in-store credit to buy a better one.
I have never mattered.
Nobodies home today.
Everyone is out playing in the world.
The vacant murmurs are trapped behind a door long inacessiable.
We grew yesterday, so nobody has to be home today.
Those low hums of plotting intentions resonating with a past self.
The world loves us today so go out...
go out and play.
Truly, Nobody is home today.
